Roblox increased the price of Robux—Here’s how you’re actually paying less than before

Today, Roblox pushed an update that changes the pricing and packages when purchasing Robux. At first glance, it may seem as if the prices have increased—which they have—but realistically, you are actually getting more Robux than you would have previously. The Robux pricing above are the rates for a user not subscribed to Premium. Premium members will receive more Robux for the same price when purchased.

Because of this change, you’re actually getting more Robux per $1 you spend on the platform, which means that at scale there will be significantly more Robux flowing through the economy. Here is a breakdown of exactly what has changed, thanks to a thread by @EvanZir on X:

• OLD: 400 Robux at $4.99 (80.16 Robux per $1)
