Roblox Cracks Down on Condo Games

Roblox has issued a statement regarding "Condo" games on the platform:

"Roblox has begun sending cease and desist letters to some of the largest condo creators in an effort to deter bad actors and open the door to further legal action.

By identifying the real-life identities of these individuals, we are prepared to pursue further legal action should they continue to violate our terms.

Roblox has rolled out a number of recent safeguards, including rate limits and publishing requirements, that make it even harder for bad actors to upload and play policy-violating content.

We are continuing to tune their automated detection systems and see indications that crippled many of the bad actor upload operations.

In addition to moderating against the content creators, Roblox is taking moderation action against players who repeatedly join experiences that violate the Community Standards.

We know that bad actors sometimes use other platforms to coordinate policy-violating behavior on Roblox. We report these instances to the other platforms to dismantle these groups and help ensure that this behavior stays off Roblox."
